Single song muses
Do people who inspired a single song belong here? I say no, because you're adding a lot of people, and they are really different from like Yoko Ono or whomever. Songs are real short, there's seldom time for much characterization in any depth. There has to be a limit somewhere. I suggest removing them and giving a not about not adding them. People like Caroline Kennedy, who gave her name to "Sweet Caroline". I don't even think that she did much more than that, as the lyrics are about a romantic relationship, which (I think) Neil Diamond never had with here. Definitely does not belong in this category (and she's not).
But even people who did truly inspire a song -- and just a single song --by some characteristic etc., don't belong here IMO. Also probably people who have a single source saying that they are a muse.
For instance, here we have the Express giving Jenny Boyd as the inspiration for one song (assuming Mick Jagger was just blowing smoke). Heloísa Pinheiro, who has an article for inspiring the one song... people like that. A number of these people are groupies, having brief serial relationships with some musicians... I dunno about them. It's just not that same as Aline Bernstein or Neal Cassady or Charlotte von Stein. Varvara Bakhmeteva. And so forth. Herostratus (talk) 16:16, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
